Nearly floating around

She was standing in the bus stop alone holding her bag dear because she had recently lost her belongings. Well her belongings never were hers but here I mean she had lost her wallet recently and she was holding on to her bag because of that. But it looked like she was holding on to a part of her which was parting. Which was almost biding goodbye. Was it ‘good’bye? Definitely not. Because she loved her soul and now it seemed as though she had to smile and wave to a part of it, she couldn’t comprehend why was it called good-bye when there’s nothing good about it being the end of days. She thought and she got lost. She was always lost in thoughts. Never was she completely mentally present in one place. It was like the mind had no business with the body. Like they were two separate entities just floating around nearby nearly making it to seem like one but they weren’t. She thought how sad they have to stick around each other. Else one could fly and reach places. But what would the other do really? Just stand in a place and get lost? It was no different than how it is now. She thought nevertheless how nice it would be to fly. Suddenly she was brought back to the present as she was shook. Quite literally because she was pushed here and there by the crowd. She turned around until she was looking at the same direction as she was before. She was looking for the bus. Or so she thought? Was she looking at anything at all or just staring into the oblivion? Was she able to process anything or was she just trying not to drown in the thoughts that were overloaded in that brain? I could see her eye dart move left to right and back several times, frantically as if there was something she was searching. Was she looking for anything in particular or just the answers? Answers to what? Any questions in particular or just everything? It kinda looked as if she was searching for someone. For herself. And surprisingly enough, her search did stop. Her frantically moving eyes had met mine in shock.
